South Windsor Invited to Natural Disaster Preparation Meeting

Residents are asked to attend the public meeting to discuss possible projects and programs.

The Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) is working with South Windsor to update the town's Natural Disaster Mitigation Plan. 

A meeting will be held on Thursday, July 11 to solicit feedback from residents regarding how the community should deal with natural disasters.

"We have a plan but it needs to be updated," reads a community flyer.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Academy Building Annex to Glastonbury Town Hall, located at 2143 Main St., Glastonbury.

Representatives and residents from the towns of East Hartford, Glastonbury, Hartford and Manchester will also be on hand.
