Police are investigating a Thursday morning accident involving a car and pedestrian on Route 5.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police are investigating a Thursday morning accident involving a car and pedestrian on Route 5.

Police said the crash took place at about 8 a.m. in front of Connecticit Soil, located at 420 John Fitch Boulevard, the local address for that part of Route 5.

Police patrol and traffic units were at the scene.
