South Windsor Police Log for April 23 - 26
The following contains information provided by South Windsor police. It does not indicate convictions.

Paige James, 20, of 36 Plainfield St., Hartford, was charged on April 25 with sixth-degree larceny and was later released on a $1,000 non-surety bond. James is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on May 9, 2013.Â
James’ charge stems from a March 2013 shoplifting incident at a children’s clothing store in Evergreen Walk, according to police. Witnesses told police that they say a woman take two shopping bags of children’s clothing from the store without paying and leave the area in a vehicle, police said in a news release.Â
According to police, officers were given the vehicles’ registration plate number and they later determined that James was the person responsible for the theft. An arrest warrant was later obtained and served on Thursday morning.
