When and how did your business get started?
I became a professional photographer in 1994. My wedding photographer was a wonderful and giving individual who believe in giving back. She took me under her wing and taught me everything about photography and encouraged me to join every professional association to learn more. I worked for her for two years and with her encouragement started my own busines in 1995. I photographed weddings for 10 years and slowly moved into families and corporate photography. Currently our focus today is on high school seniors, events, families and pets.
Why did you choose the town you chose to start your business in?
It's my hometown and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
What is your business best known for?  Â
I truly think that when someone comes to the studio they feel very comfortable. I have been told that kids who wouldn't smile, and people who don't like to be photographed have a very positive experience. We also have a blog that showcases events and places around this great town of South Windsor. What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?  Â
In this day and age of digital photography and social media, it is truly important to create a physical image and not just purchase the digital file. 50 years from now that file may be corrupt or lost and you will never be able to get it back. But with a physical print, you will be able to enjoy it forever.
