South Windsor Store Turning Into Lottery Hot Spot
A pair of 5-figure daily numbers winning tickets bought at a Route 5 gas station and convenience store were cashed in within four days.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Feeling lucky? You may want to head to the Exxon gas station and convenience store on Route 5 near the East Hartford line and play some numbers, as the shop recently sold its second five-digit winning CT Lottery ticket in a 4-day span.
On Tuesday, Bessie Dunbar of East Hartford hit a Play4 Day ticket bought at the store for $17,812. Four days earlier, Rosemary Marino of West Hartford converted a Play4 Night ticket into $45,000.
The CT Lottery posts winners of $10,000 or more as public record.
