South Windsor Student Chosen For First Tee Advisory Council

Meghna Mazumdar will advise First Tee headquarters on matters pertinent to youth in the program, which empowers kids through golf.

First Tee — Connecticut, a youth development organization empowering kids to build their strength of character through the game of golf, is excited to announce that one of its Ace Level participants, Meghna Mazumdar, has been selected for the new, national First Tee Participant Advisory Council. Meghna, 18, is a resident of South Windsor and a member of the Class of 2021 at South Windsor High School.

The purpose of the First Tee Participant Advisory Council (PAC) is to advise First Tee headquarters on matters pertinent to youth in the program. Meghna will join seven other participants from across the country, along with two alumni, on the first-ever PAC for a one-year term. She will represent First Tee — Connecticut at national meetings and provide honest and professional counsel to headquarters on various agenda topics.
