South Windsor to Host Free Residential Electronics Recycling Event

The Town of South Windsor has scheduled an Electronic Recycling collection day for Saturday, July 13.

From 8 a.m.-1 p.m., residents are invited to drop off electronic items they no longer use at Town Hall in the rear parking lot.

The following will be accepted at no charge, per the town Web site:

  • Fax machines; 
  • iPods;
  • POAs;
  • Modems;
  • Monitors;
  • Peripherals (keyboards, mouse, etc.);

  • Stereo and radio equipment;
  • Telephones and telephone equipment;
  • Televisions;
  • Typewriters;
  • Speakers;
  • Microwave ovens; 
  • Digital cameras;
  • VCRs; and 
  • DVD players.
