Good morning, South Windsor! Today is Monday, May 6, 2013; there are 242 days left in the year.

Last week I wrote about all of the school field trips that are now crowding my calendar as my children’s teachers cram in nearly a year's worth of trips into the last few weeks of the academic year.

Today, it's extra curricular activities.

Holy cow! When I sat down to do my family the calendar for the month (yes, I'm one of those types who has a dry-erase calendar in my kitchen in an effort of keeping track of everyone's schedule) I almost fainted.

Soccer practice and games, swim team and lessons, dance recital preparations ... where has the time gone?

4. The business networking group will meet tonight at 6 at Teddy's Pizza & Restaurant on Oakland Road.

5. The South Windsor Lions Charity Golf Tournament will tee-off at 9 a.m. at Topstone Golf Course on Tuesday.
