SWPD Looking For Hit-And-Run Driver
South Windsor police are looking for a hit-and-run driver.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — South Windsor police are asking the public for help as they look for a driver who sped away from a crash on John Fitch Boulevard.
The crash took place on Monday at 5:40 p.m. at the intersection of John Fitch and Ellington Road, police said.
One car was stopped on John Fitch in the southbound right lane, waiting for a red light, police said. Another vehicle passed it on the right shoulder at a high rate of speed, knocked its mirror off and the ran the red light, according to police.

The driver of the stopped car was unable to provide any description of the suspect vehicle, police said. Anyone whoi may have witnessed the crash or has any information on the case can contact Officer Jacob Truebig of the SWPD Traffic Unit at 860-644-2551.
