The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Hartford and Tolland counties for possible severe weather on Thursday and for a Nor’Easter chance Sunday into Monday where snow could make its return, but that remains very uncertain.
First the here and now.
Thursday:
Isolated thunderstorms with small hail and gusty winds are possible Thursday afternoon and evening. There is even a low risk for a very localized damaging wind gust or two. The main time frame of concern is between 2 and 10 p.m. Thursday afternoon and evening, the weather service writes.
Sunday night and Monday:
A coastal storm may bring rain and or snow to portions of southern New England, however, it’s still possible the storm could move out to sea and we’d see no precipitation at all, the National Weather Service states.
We’ll keep updating the forecast. Enjoy today’s weather which calls for sunshine and temps near 60 degrees.
