Update: Leaf Collection Crews Out Oct. 31, Nov. 1

Leaf collection update from the town: 

Leaf collection crews will be out Thursday October 31st and Friday November 1st exercising collection equipment in preparation for the start of the Leaf Collection Program on Nov. 4th. There will be crews in various locations throughout town. These crews will start over from the beginning of the schedule on Monday November 4th.

Collection is affected by weather conditions and by the resident’s potential to rake. This may alter the schedule causing the collection to be ahead of schedule early in the program or behind schedule later in the program.

Please continue to check the hotline, 648-6371 and our website www.southwindsor.org, for the latest updates to the pick up schedule. As a reminder the leaf drop off site at the Town Garage on Burgess Road is open 7 days a week until December 27, 2013 for your convenience.

Leaves must be raked to the curb on the following streets by Nov 4.
