Visit Mr. & Mrs. Claus in South Windsor

The North Pole couple will be at the Pleasant Valley Schoolhouse Museum Dec. 15

The South Windsor Historical Society invites local parents to bring their children to the Pleasant Valley Schoolhouse Museum, 771 Ellington Rd., for its annual holiday visit with Mr. and Mrs. Claus Dec. 15 from noon to 3 p.m.
Museum chair Joan Walsh said photos may be taken with the North Pole couple, and there will be gifts for the children and refreshments. The event is free.
Used as a one-room school from 1862 to 1952, the building has been renovated and expanded by the Historical Society as a museum containing school and town memorabilia. The gift shop, featuring items related to local history, will also be open Parking and admission are free; donations are welcome. Walsh added that appointments to visit the museum at other times this month may be made by calling 860-644-6000.
