Beelzebub Road in South Windsor Reopens After Water Main Break [Updated]

Road expected to open around 3:30 p.m.

The water main break Tuesday that closed Beelzebub Road in South Windsor has been repaired, according to South Windsor police.

South Windsor Police Lt. Scott Custer said in an e-mail that the road has also re-opened.

The break occurred on Beelzebub between Norton Lane and Foster Road round 6 a.m., according to Custer. Twenty-four homes lost water service as crews worked to repair the break, Custer said.

The road was open to local traffic while repairs were being made, Custer said.
