Week Ahead in South Windsor: Veterans Day, Swearing In Ceremony, Planning and Zoning
Things to know and not to miss in the coming week.
A Veterans Day ceremony will be held Monday morning at 11 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park.Â
Town offices are closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day but trash and recycling will operate on the normal schedule.
The Board of Education’s Communication Committee meets Monday at 4 p.m. at the Board of Education offices. The regular Board of Education meeting, slated for Tuesday has been canceled due to the conflicting Town Council meeting. The next meeting will be Nov. 26.

Tuesday the town organizational meeting will be held at 8 p.m. at the Town Hall, during which the newly elected officials will be sworn in.
The Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to meet Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Madden Room.
