For Hartford County, a “Winter Weather Advisory” is in effect until noon today for some more ice accumulation. The weather service cautions that roads will be slippery especially this morning.

Fog will also be an issue all day as temps rise to near 40 degrees and keep climbing. During the day and evening more than an inch of rain is likely before it ends around 12 noon Thursday.

Thunderstorms are also likely early Thursday and temps rise overnight into the mid-50s by daybreak Thursday. Winds will gust between 10 to 17 mph.

Tolland County:

A Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued for winds that could gust as high as 40 to 50 mph today and tonight and wind advisories may be issued for here later, the weather service states.

Rain and fog will continue all day into Thursday morning with more than an inch of rain expected. Thunderstorms are possible, too.
