Woman Held on $250,000 Bond After Domestic Disturbance

Lisa Giano faces a slew of charges, including throwing knives at her boyfriend at his South Windsor home in August 2013.

A Manchester woman previously arrested for allegedly throwing knives at her ex-boyfriend is being held on $250,000 bond after being arrested again Tuesday in South Windsor.

Lisa Giano, 24, of 791 Main St., Manchester, was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal violation of a protective order after police responded to a domestic dispute on Oakland Road.

According to police, Giano was at the home in violation of a protective order and had been involved in an argument with a male friend. South Windsor Police set bail at $10,000 surety bond, which the bail commissioner later raised to $250,000.

Giano has been convicted on numerous charges, including breach of peace, threatening, possession of a controlled substance and numerous violations of probation.

She faces pending charges of prostitution, criminal trespassing, interfering with an officer and violation of a protective order from July August and October of 2013.

In August, Giano allegedly violated a protective order by going to her boyfriend's Oakland Road home and getting into a domestic dispute that culminated with Giano throwing knives at her unidentified boyfriend. 

She is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court Jan. 28 on all of her pending charges.
