Goodwin College, East Hartford CT
- Goodwin College announces 627 students achieved Dean's list status for the summer 2019 session. Dean's List inclusion requires a student to earn a minimum 3.5 GPA, the equivalent of an A- average, during a given academic session. The student must also be enrolled in a minimum of six academic credits to qualify. Students from Stafford who made the Dean's List were Peter Wilson, Todd Jaramillo and Jennifer O'Sullivan. Willington honorees were Brittany Bassett, Rachel Greenwood, Kristine Holland, Nicole Newcombe and Stephanie Petrolito.

- Tammy Marshall-Paquin of Willington was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Marshall-Paquin is among approximately 30,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership.
