University of Iowa, Iowa City IA

  • The University of Iowa recently welcomed the most academically accomplished class in its 172-year history. Included among the UI's Class of 2023 - a group that is a little less than 5,000 in total number - is Sarah Wallett, a first year student in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences from Willington.

  • Katelyn Henderson from Stafford Springs was among twenty Western New England University students who traveled to the city of Sorrento, Italy for three weeks to immerse themselves in the study of Italian culture. Participating students took two Western New England University courses, Business Communication and Italian Culture, taught by Western New England University faculty. Adjunct College of Arts and Sciences professor, Dr. Rocco Mesiti, and Professional Educator of Communication, Brenda Garton-Sjoberg, taught the courses in Sorrento at the Sant'Anna Institute, one of WNEU's international partner institutions.
