Asnuntuck Community College, Enfield CT

• Asnuntuck Community College has announced that the following full and part-time students from Stafford and Willington have achieved Dean’s List status following their spring semester of studies. From Stafford: Asia Avery, Rebekah Delisle, Heather Gaudet, Devin Gilbert, Samantha Litell, Aleksondra Patalik, Ashley Robbins, Nikki Strickland and Nicholas Taylor. From Willington: Madison Smith.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

• Joshua Albert of Stafford Springs graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in May 2019 with a BS/MS in electrical engineering. RIT conferred some 4,200 degrees this academic year at all its campuses-including in Croatia, Dubai, Kosovo and China. The university held its 134th annual commencement celebration in May.

Western Connecticut State University, Danbury CT

• Five local students were named to the spring 2019 Dean's List at Western Connecticut State University. From Willington: Abigail Donaghy, History; Riley Gardner, Political Science; and Kienan Giller, Justice and Law Administration. From Stafford: Jenna Castonguay, Theatre Arts, and Isaac Combs, Health Promotion Studies.
