Coronavirus Drive-Up Test Stations Open In Stafford, Hartford
Drive-up testing stations have opened at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford and St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford.

STAFFORD-HARTFORD, CT — Johnson Memorial Hospital has opened a drive-through mobile center to test patients for the new coronavirus, or COVID-19. It is located at 201 Chestnut Hill Road, Stafford Springs, directly in front of the Community Medical Education Center on the Johnson Memorial Hospital campus.
Trinity Health Of New England, parent company of Johnson, has partnered with two Connecticut labs to conduct COVID-19 testing, to optimize and offer efficient testing to patients. Those seeking a screening must have a physician’s order and proper identification.
The mobile test site will operate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week.

Upon entering the drive-up clinic, patients may be asked to call the pre-registration number and be connected to a clinical staff member who will complete the registration. The screening process will be conducted by trained clinicians, who will be taking all necessary precautions to protect themselves and patients. Patients will be asked to keep their windows up for the majority of their drive through the site.

Another Trinity Health of New England drive-through testing site is located at 1000 Asylum Street in Hartford, directly in front of the Gengras Building on the Saint Francis Hospital campus. It is open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Trinity Health of New England has also partnered with Malta House of Care Mobile Medical Clinic, an independent nonprofit that provides free primary health care to uninsured adults. Malta provided its most recently retired mobile clinic, a 40-foot vehicle, as a base of operations for Trinity’s drive-through coronavirus testing clinic at Saint Francis.
