Hartford/Tolland County Teams Qualify For Basketball Tournaments

HARTFORD/TOLLAND COUNTIES, CT — As the Connecticut high school basketball season begins to near the end of it schedule, teams are beginning to look ahead to the state tournaments. As of the completion of Monday night's games, 59 teams from schools in Hartford and Tolland counties have already qualified - 32 for the girls tournament, and 27 in boys. A number of other teams from the region are still alive in the battle for tournament berths.
