WILLINGTON, CT — The latest trip to a Hidden Gem strikes a catchy tune both in the kitchen and on the patio.

Welcome to the the Hilltop Restaurant and Bar in Willington.

The Hilltop is nestled, well, at the top of a rise on a wooded parcel near the Route 32-Route 74 fork in Willington. The address is officially 39 Adamec Road.

It's actually hard to see heading south on Route 32.

The Hilltop's menu selections range from traditional Italian dishes to seafood specialties to steaks and prime rib, along with burgers, wraps, grinders, salads, sandwiches and a variety of pizzas.

Specials are created daily.

The Hilltop also features a spacious bar area famous for specialty cocktails and a dozen beers on tap, a plethora of TVs and live entertainment. That extends to the seasonal patio for drinks or dining.

The Hilltop has a sister location — Beni's — on Route 30 in Vernon.

One of the most popular live acts to grace the Hilltop is celebrated eastern Connecticut troubadour Bruce John. He will be at the Hilltop monthly beginning in May.
