License of LPN From Stafford Placed On Probation
The state Board of Examiners for Nursing disciplined nine nurses Wednesday, including three license revocations.

HARTFORD, CT — A licensed practical nurse from Stafford was among nine nurses who received disciplinary action from the state Board of Examiners for Nursing Wednesday, according to the Connecticut Health I-Team (C-HIT).
Danielle Works had her LPN license placed on probation for four years following an investigation of allegations that she had diverted and/or used several controlled substances, including oxycodone, while working in Massachusetts between Sept. 2017 and Jan. 2018. She was also accused of failing to properly document medical or hospital records, and of falsifying controlled substance receipt records, according to public state documents,
Works had her license suspended in the Bay State in Sept. 2018, and voluntarily surrendered it in March of this year. She opted not to contest the allegations.
