The Most Dangerous Roads In Stafford and Willington

A new report outlines crash data in town.

STAFFORD/WILLINGTON, CT — The most dangerous roads in Stafford and Willington are Route 190 and Interstate-84, respectively.

The University of Connecticut Crash Data Repository has crunched data from The Department of Public Safety and the state Department of Transportation.

In all, there were 593 crashes in Stafford since 2015 and 909 vehicles were involved. A total of 1,164 people were affected.

Three of the crashes proved to be fatal, five involved serious injuries and 100 involved minor injuries.

In all, 462 crashes took place in Willington during the time period involving 709 vehicles and 947 people.

Fatalities totaled three and one involved serious injuries. A total of 72 had minor injuries.
