Stafford Man Facing Multiple Sex Assault Charges
A Stafford man was charged this week with multiple sex assault crimes, state police said.
STAFFORD, CT — A 42-year-old Stafford man is facing multiple sexual assault charges after his arrest this week, state police said.
Kurt McKinney was taken into custody on Wednesday and charged with one count each of first-, second- and fourth-degree sexual assault, according to a report.
He was also charged with risk of injury to a child because the victim in the case is a 15-year-old girl, a report indicates.

A report on file at the state police Troop C barracks gave little detail on the case, but did disclose that the teen told police that she was sexually assaulted by McKinney in Stafford over the past year-and-a-half.
A warrant was secured after what state police said was a "lengthy investigation."

McKinney posted a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 8, records show.
