Jacqueline L. Teske Elected to Office by Connecticut Funeral Directors Association

Jacqueline L. Teske has been elected Vice President of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association (CFDA). Teske is a licensed funeral director/embalmer at Pietras Family Funeral Homes, which has locations in Rockville, Coventry, Tolland and East Windsor, Conn. Teske has served five terms on CFDA’s Executive Committee and, most recently, was the association’s Secretary.
Teske joined Pietras Family Funeral Homes in 2005 and completed her apprenticeship there in October 2009. She became a funeral director/embalmer in 2008 after receiving her professional schooling from Briarwood College of Mortuary Science (now Goodwin University). She is a member of the International Association of Women (IAW).
Teske lives in Stafford Springs with her husband, Donald, and two children. She belongs to the Rockville Fish and Game Club and volunteers for community projects in area towns. A native of Enfield, Conn., Teske is a parishioner of Holy Family Parish in Enfield.
