Stafford-Willington Coronavirus Update: 20 Cases Now Confirmed
The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 reached 20 as of Thursday between Stafford and Willington, according to state health officials.
STAFFORD-WILLINGTON, CT — As the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut climbed near 4,000 Thursday, the total in Stafford has risen to 19, with one in Willington. Statewide, the number of deaths related to the virus has reached 112, with 827 hospitalizations. About 18,300 people have been tested for the virus, according to state health officials.
Fairfield County continues to compile the highest number of confirmed cases with 2,132, or 55.8 percent of the state's total. Tolland County, in which Stafford and Willington are located, has confirmed 67 cases with 10 deaths.
