Stafford-Willington Coronavirus Update: 3 More Cases Confirmed
On Friday, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 reached 23 in Stafford and Willington, according to state health officials.
STAFFORD-WILLINGTON, CT — Heading into the first weekend of April, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut climbed near 5,000 Friday, while the total in Stafford and Willington has risen to 23, including 21 in Stafford alone. Statewide, the number of deaths related to the virus is up to 131, with 909 hospitalizations. Just over 20,000 people have undergone testing for the virus thus far, according to state health officials.
Fairfield County continues to compile the highest number of confirmed cases with 2,716, or 55.3 percent of the state's total. Tolland County, in which Stafford and Willington are located, has confirmed 79 cases with 10 deaths.
