Stafford-Willington Coronavirus Update: 7 More Cases Confirmed
Over the weekend, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 reached 30 in Stafford and Willington, according to state health officials.
STAFFORD-WILLINGTON, CT — The start of the first full week of April saw the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut approach 7,000 Monday, while the total in Stafford jumped to 28 and Willington remained at two. Statewide, the number of deaths related to the virus is up to 206, with 1,221 hospitalizations. Just under 27,000 people have undergone testing for the virus thus far, according to state health officials.
Fairfield County continues to compile the highest number of confirmed cases with 3,719, or 53.9 percent of the state's total. Stafford and Willington are both located in Tolland County, which has confirmed 103 cases with 13 deaths.
