2-Car Wreck Takes Out I-84 Sign In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — A two-car crash took out a traffic sign on Interstate-84 Sunday afternoon in Tolland.

The crash took place on the westbound side of the highway near the Exit 69 ramp, fire officials said. It was reported at about 4:15 p.m.

Tolland Fire crews and state police managed to clear the scene without closing any roads, officials said.

One person was transported to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries.
