TOLLAND, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University graduated 227 students at the conclusion of the fall 2019 semester. Among the recent graduates is Aaron Wilson of Tolland, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Emerson College, Boston MA

• Nicholas Younge, a native of Tolland, has been named to the Emerson College Dean's List for the fall 2019 semester. Younge is majoring in Communication Studies and is a member of the Class of 2023. The requirement to make Emerson's Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• The University of Hartford is pleased to announce the following students from Tolland have been named to the Dean's List for fall 2019: Matthew Bradnan, Jeremy Cardella, Taylor Casey, Allison Gallo, Rebecca Jones and Christianna MacDonald.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• Chloe Alliod, Katie Bzowyckyj, Alyssa Carneiro, Samantha Cochis, Jon Glick, Lionel Jeffries, Ethan Mason, Abigail Miller, Holly Shepard, Emily Steiner and Maggie Watson, all of Tolland, have been named to URI's fall 2019 Dean's List. To be included on the Dean's List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average.
