Coastal Carolina University, Conway SC
- More than 800 Coastal Carolina University students were named to the President's List for the fall 2019 semester. Among those named to the President's List was Sarah Allen, a Public Health major from Tolland. To be named to the President's List, students must achieve a 4.0 grade point average (GPA) for the semester.
- More than 2,400 Coastal Carolina University students were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2019 semester. Among the students earning recognition on the Dean's List were Tolland residents Evan Kerecz, a Recreation and Sport Management major; Holly McGrath, an Intelligence & National Security Studies major; and Cody Ouellette, a Management major.
Hamilton College, Clinton NY

- Monica Dave, of Tolland, has been named to the Dean's List at Hamilton College for the 2019 fall semester. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must have carried throughout the semester a course load of four or more graded credits with an average of 3.5 or above. Dave, a senior majoring in neuroscience, is a graduate of Tolland High School.
Nichols College, Dudley MA
- Brianna Dube and Carl Cyr, both of Tolland, received academic honors from Nichols College during the fall 2019 semester. In order to be included on the Dean's List, a student must have a minimum average of 3.5 for at least 12 undergraduate credit-hours and must have received no grades below B- during the semester.
Siena College, Loudonville NY

- Jillian Fiddler was named to the Siena College President's List for the fall 2019 semester. Fiddler is from Tolland. The President's List requires a 3.9 grade point average or higher.
- James Heaney has been named to the Siena College Dean's List for the fall 2019 semester. Heaney is from Tolland. To be named to the Dean's List, a student's grade point average for the semester must be between 3.5 and 3.89.
Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester NH
- It is with great pleasure that Southern New Hampshire University congratulates Tolland residents Sarah Evans and Tyler Jorgensen on being named to the fall 2019 President's List.
Eligibility for the President's List requires that a student accumulate an academic grade point average (GPA) of 3.7-4.0 and earn 12 credits for the semester.
Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA
- Five Tolland residents were among 1,678 students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2019 semester.
They are Kelsey Leach, a member of the class of 2023 majoring in biomedical engineering; Jared Poulos, a member of the class of 2022 majoring in computer science; Ryan Doyle, a member of the class of 2020 majoring in interactive media and game development; Ryan Carnemolla, a member of the class of 2021 majoring in robotics engineering; and Kalina Bonofiglio, a member of the class of 2023 majoring in robotics engineering.
