“Cut the Cord” and Get Rid of the High Costs of Cable

The Friends of the Tolland Public Library are sponsoring a one hour zoom presentation on Tuesday, February 23 at 6:30 pm by James Gifford who will explain how Do-It-Yourselfers can replace cable TV, movie, and phone services. Mr. Gifford has been in the tech industry for most of his career, and a writer on consumer issues. He specialized in presenting complex information and systems to novices and new users. Though there is information on the web on how to replace cable services, most of it is aimed at people with experience, and it also may not be current.
