TOLLAND, CT — A proposed set of zoning regulation amendments could pave the way for eateries to feature drive-up windows in the historic Tolland Village area.

The Planning & Zoning Commission has slated a remote public hearing on the matter for 7 p.m. on Sept. 28.

The amendments are for Sections 7-5.A.3, 16-5.A and 16-5.B.1.a. of the Tolland Zoning Regulations. They would allow drive-through service at restaurants in the Tolland Village Area and eliminate the requirement for a signalized intersection.
