Festival of Trees at Tolland Public Library

The Friends of the Tolland Public Library will open their Festival of Trees Fundraiser with a reception and entertainment on Thursday, November 7th from 6 to 7:30 pm at the library located at Tolland Green. Tolland residents, local businesses, and social organizations have demonstrated their creativity and imagination by decorating tabletop trees on which visitors can bid during a silent auction. The Thursday night reception is the opening night for bidding on the trees. Bids will be accepted during regular library hours until Saturday, November 30th with final bids being accepted on Sunday, December 1st from 2 to 3 pm. Successful bidders may take their trees home to enjoy. Winners not present will be notified by phone, and trees can be picked up during regular library hours.
