Flash Flood Warning Issued For Parts Of Tolland County
Severe weather will impact the area for the next several hours. BREAKING

The National Weather Service in Boston/Norton has issued a Flash Flood Warning for parts of Tolland County until 3:15 p.m.
At 1120 AM EDT Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms producing very heavy rain within the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
As of 1120 AM, the heaviest rainfall extended from extreme northeast Connecticut into far northwest Rhode Island, northeastward into the Boston corridor. Rainfall rates in this area were as high as 2 to 5 inches per hour. This band may shift to the south over the next couple of hours.

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Patchy fog before noon. High near 75. Southwest wind 6 to 8 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
