The Latest State Police/Troop C Arrests

TOLLAND COUNTY, CT — Here are the latest arrests made by state police out of the Troop C barracks.

Dec. 1

STAFFORD, CT — Lisa Ann Jarvis, 54, of Chicopee, MA, is facing several charges after a traffic stop and subsequent chase on Route 190. According to a report, a motorist approached a trooper to reports a driver in an "older Jeep" leaving a local gas station in an erratic manner. Jarvis was pulled over, but refused to roll down her window more than an inch and a trooper smelled marijuana in the vehicle, according to a report. Jarvis fled the scene at a slow speed, then sped up, fishtailed and hit a state police cruiser head-on, according to a report.

She was charged with:

• Reckless driving
• Engaging police in a pursuit
• Evading responsibility
• Failure to drive in a proper lane
• Unsafe backing
• A traffic control violation
• First-degree criminal mischief
• Assault on a public safety officer

STAFFORD, CT — Jesse Hoffman, 36, of Stafford, was charged with driving under the influence, improper parking and the use of drug paraphernalia. He was discovered parked on the front lawn of a local residence, according to a report.

Nov. 26

TOLLAND, CT — Cherlene Brown, 44, of no certain address, was charged with disorderly conduct after an altercation on Shanda Lane.

Nov. 25

TOLLAND, CT — Tho Duc Tran, 46, of Worcester, MA, was charged with extradition by arrest and a headlight violation after a traffic stop on Interstate-84.

Nov. 24

STAFFORD, CT — Jonathan Kabel, 23, of (address redacted), has been charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency call and assault in the third degree.

Nov. 23

WILLINGTON, CT — Shawn Farrington, 49, of Willington, was charged with driving under the influence and a lane violation after a stop on Kollar Road.

MANSFIELD, CT — Adrian Collazo, 22, of Windham, was charged on a warrant with first-degree criminal trespass, assault on a public safety officer, second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening.
