Leases For 3 Tolland Community Staples Up For Renewal

The leases for three staples of the community are up for renewal in Tolland.

TOLLAND, CT — The leases for three staples of the community are up for renewal, but the Tolland Town Council must first conduct a public hearing before rolling them over for another 10 years.

The public hearing is scheduled for Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. It will be conducted via video conference, town officials said.

  • 52 Tolland Green, the Old Tolland County Jailhouse and Museum and the home of the Tolland Historical Society
  • The military museum at 749 Tolland Stage Road
  • The Arts of Tolland campus at 22 Tolland Green

The leases would run from April 1 to March 31, 2031. The annual rent is generally nominal. For example, at its last meeting, the Tolland Town Council proposed the deal for the Jailhouse to be one buck.
