Letter: Endorsing Besaw In Tolland

TOLLAND, — To The Editor:

I am honored to give you my endorsement of Renie Besaw for the Tolland Board of Education. I have been fortunate to work side by side with Renie for many years. She is a natural leader, an individual that takes an ownership interest in everything she does.

Her input and dedication have been the mainstay of our companies’ growth. She is always seeking new more efficient ways to do things, and measures to cut costs but at the same time maintain productivity, and quality. These attributes were quickly noticed by the Town of Colchester where she was a member of the Board of Education. Renie quickly rose to the Vice Chair position and assisted Colchester with many issues including, a Superintendent search as well as addressing and solving chronic budget issues.

Renie has an ability to bring people together to do the right thing and move issues forward. She is a proven problem solver and her work ethic is above reproach. Tolland would fortunate to have an individual of her caliber, experience, dedication and intelligence serve on the Board of Education.
