Letter: Endorsing Christina Plourd in Tolland

To the Editor:

I am a proud parent of a son that graduated and benefited greatly from his education in the town of Tolland.

I take great pride in continuing to take an interest in Tolland schools and the community members that we vote into office. I am very happy to support a friend and neighbor, Christina Plourd, for the Tolland Board of Education.

Christina has lived in Tolland for five years, with her husband and son. She loves animals and has hiked with her dog on all the trails in Tolland and neighboring towns. Christina is young and energetic. She is excited to help guide our town on the BOE with new ideas during these tough economic times. Christina is friendly and easy to talk with.

Please join me on Nov. 7 to Vote.
