Letter: Support For Holt In Tolland

To the Editor:

I am writing to ask the readers to vote for Anthony Holt as one of their choices for Tolland Board of Education.

I have known Tony for nearly a decade and can think of no one better for this responsibility. He is a fantastic mentor, but is an even better father and husband. He truly wants to provide the best for his family and community, and you can count on him to make the best decisions. I am lucky to have had the opportunity to both work with Tony and become his friend.

Tony is also a lifelong student. He continues to educate himself on all aspects of an issue or problem so that he can understand all standpoints and choose the best solution. He will make sure to consider all options when making the important decisions regarding the education of our youth.

Aside from being a devoted family man, he is one of the hardest working individuals I know and will do his absolute best for the community of Tolland. While working with Tony, he was always the first one in and almost certainly the last one to leave. He is dedicated to whatever task he is set to, to the point that sometimes he has to be reminded to eat or go home so he isn’t late for date night! I can guarantee he will put this energy to use for the Tolland Community.
