Letter: Tolland Candidate Says Thanks

TOLLAND, CT:

To The Editor:

To my friends and neighbors of Tolland. Election day was a long day. After about 17 hours we had a tremendous level of voter turnout to the point where additional ballots were produced and hand counted before the results were finalized. I am happy to announce that I will be joining the Tolland Town Council effective Tuesday, 11/12.

While I certainly wish more of the friends I've made along the way were joining me in lock-step, there is so much to be done for our community. You can be guaranteed I will be working with everyone who did not meet the threshold to stay involved on various appointed/volunteee boards and commissions.

At the same time, I extend an open heart and mind to begin working with my neighbors who were elected to move Tolland in the right direction. Thank you to everyone who put their trust in me with their vote.

I can only hope to live up to the bar that has been set by my peers.
