Loud Music On Bus Leads To Passenger's Arrest on I-84: Report

TOLLAND, CT — A Massachusetts man was arrested after a loud music incident aboard a Greyhound bus traveling through Tolland on Interstate-84, state police said.

The incident took place at 10:17 a.m. on Aug. 7. The bus was headed from Boston to New York City, state police said.

According to a report, 24-year-old Massachusetts resident Amex Marks-Katz was aboard the bus and refused to turn down his music after being repeatedly asked to do so by the driver. He then began pacing up and down the aisle while the bus was in motion, according to a report.

The driver confronted Marks-Katz after pulling over near Exit 68 an a physical altercation ensued, state police said.

Marks-Katz was charged with second-degree breach of peace and was to appear in court Wednesday, state police said.
