TOLLAND, CT — A microburst toppled a shed in a Tolland industrial area over the weekend, fire officials said.

The phenomenon took place Saturday afternoon as a band of Thunderstorms made its way through north central Connecticut. At about 3 p.m. one produced a microburst that caused a shed to overturn near the intersection of Industrial Park Road West and Hartford Turnpike, fire officials said.

The contents of the shed were scattered and gasoline began leaking from a container, fire officials said.
