More Wires Down In Tolland Wednesday
Fire officials have responded to two incidents on Buff Cap Road in Tolland this week and Wednesday was another busy day for downed wires.

TOLLAND, CT — A car took out a pole on Buff Cap Road in Tolland Wednesday afternoon, fore officials said.
The accident was reported at about 4:30 p.m. along the 200 block of Buff Cap.
The road is closed in the area of the crash, fire officials said.

A utility crew was called to the scene for repairs. The pole was broken, fire officials said.
It was the second incident on Buff Cap in four days.

On Sunday, the road was closed for an extended period of time after a tree went down and took wires with it, fire officials said. That incident was in the area of 500 Buff Cap Road.
Also Wednesday, a fire crews were at the scene scene of a tree on wires on the 100 block of Walbridge Hill Road and that street was also closed. The incident was reported at about 6 p.m.
