New Daycare Center Coming to Tolland

People in Tolland who are looking for childcare will now have another option.

Meredith Sauve, a Tolland resident, is opening Miss Merry Mac’s Educational Daycare at 479 Merrow Rd.

Sauve graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University in May of 2014 with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Sociology. She has worked at the Tolland Crandall’s Camp for the past eight years and says she knew she would be happy working with children the rest of her life.

“I have always wanted a daycare to be able to teach children,” she said.

Sauve is a State of Connecticut certified teacher and the daycare is fully licensed. It is a birth to five year old daycare with two rooms one - infant/toddler for 3 years and under and one preschool room for 3 to 5-year-olds.

The facility is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

For people who are interested in learning more about the center, there will be an open house on Sunday from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.
