In-Person Ceremony Slated For Tolland High School Graduates

TOLLAND, CT — An in-person graduation ceremony is slated for Thursday at Tolland High School seniors.

The ceremony is on tap for 5:30 p.m.

Because of "restrictions on the numbers allowed at outdoor events," the event is being staged for Class of 2020 graduates only, school officials said.

Parent/Guardians/Community members can watch the stream from their cars or at another location, officials said. The THS parking lots, fields and grounds are closed to the public for these ceremonies, they added.

School officials said, "By following the requirements of the State of Connecticut, we can put on this event for our graduates who have lost many traditional opportunities this year."
