Popular Trooper Miller Honored On 3rd Anniversary Of His Death
A state police ceremony Monday honored fallen trooper Kevin Miller, who died in the line of duty three years ago.

TOLLAND, CT — State police from the Troop C barracks Monday paid tribute to fallen trooper Kevin Miller, who died in the line of duty three years ago.
The ceremony featured members of Miller's family laying a wreath in his memory and an honor guard of state troopers standing at attention.
Miller was killed on March 29, 2018, when his state police cruiser collided with a tractor-trailer on Interstate-84 near Exit 68 in Tolland.

Miller, who held the rank of trooper first class had served with the state police for 19 years.
State police said Miller was on-duty at the time. Miller was assigned to Troop C in Tolland, having previously served at Troop K in Colchester and Troop E in Montville.

Miller was a member of the 108th Training Troop, graduating from the Connecticut State Police Academy on March 19, 1999.
The crash on the eastbound side of the highway was reported at about 12:50 p.m. that day in 2018.
