'Power Surge' Being Investigated In Tolland
What fire officials called a "power surge" is being investigated in Tolland.
TOLLAND, CT — Fire officials were checking local homes for damage Wednesday afternoon after what they described as a "power surge" hit the area.
The initial call came in just before 4:30 p.m. about a possible electrical fire on Nedwied Road.
When firefighters arrived, they found no fire, but began checking multiple houses for damage, officials said..
