Robber In Souped-Up Car Holds Up Tolland Store: Police
State police are investigating a Sunday store robbery in Tolland.

TOLLAND, CT — State police are looking for a man with a customized car after a Mother's Day robbery at a Tolland gas station convenience store, a report indicates.
The caper took place at 12:51 a.m. Sunday, at the XtraMart convenience store, 153 Hartford Turnpike, state police said.
The suspect is being described as a Black man standing 6-foot-3, who was wearing all black clothing and a mask. The man demanded money from the store clerk, state police said. No threats were made, and no weapons were shown or implied, state police added.

The man's vehicle is being described as a dark-colored four-door Honda Civic, with a white roof, large trunk spoiler, silver/white rims and decal across the rear windshield. State police released images of both the car and the man.

State police did not say how much money the man fled with.
